• SHOP GREEN. Read labels. Clothing is changing. Look for organics, sustainables, renewables and ingredients that help extend a product's life cycle.
  • DON'T SHOP - SWAP! Clothing swaps refresh a wardrobe.
  • GO VINTAGE. It's recycling!
  • DRIVE LESS. Walk, bike or use mass transit.
  • And drive more...efficiently. Carpool, don't idle during drop off and pick up or drive a hybrid.
  • Buy local and organic produce. Or grow it yourself!
  • Reduce, reuse, recycle and rot. Composting is good for the earth - and your garden.
  • Change a lightbulb. LEDs are energy efficient.
  • Turn on, turn off, unplug. Your appliances don't need to work while you're at work!
  • Celebrate green. Let nature inspire your holiday, wedding and birthday party themes.
  • Re-think laundry. Only run full loads, use cold water and line dry.
  • Plant a plant. It will beautify your lawn and absorb CO2
  • Reduce guilt. Carbon offsets, renewable energy credits or green tags can balance out your worst "eco-sins."
  • Choose wisely. Inform yourself about companies making an effort to improve the environment - ask questions, read labels and share information with friends.
